Try as I might I couldn't warm to this 7-song tape. Despite the claims in the press release that their music is "totally contemporary", I found the synth riffs nearer to the kind of thing that After The Fire were doing much better well over a decade ago, while the lead singer voice lacked any real passion. Occasionally a grungy passage of riffing guitar grabbed attention but on the whole this is a decidedly average offering from a Hartlepool three-piece who need to sort out their musical ideas.
