Tony Bobalik (keyboards) is doing great. He's worked on quite a few albums in collaboration with other artists, currently teaches private piano lessons, and is the worship leader at Mt Olive Church, in Chicago IL.

Gee, why didn't they put our first release on this site? Ah, well... Recess your favorite band eh? Well that's kewl. The one and only Recess performance since the 90's was at my wedding reception in 2004. The only way I could convince them to get back together! Take care!

Recess is my favorite band. I grew up in Youth for Christ listening to Tim McGuire cut his teeth as a band leader. I wish I could find out what happened to them.

Beth- I'm responding to your e-mail about what happen to Recess. I'm very excited to see people still remember Recess. My name is Darrell ( drums & percussion )and I toured with the the band in the early 90's and recorded on the second album ( Weird Things)it was quite an experiance. Also I worked on a project Tim Mcguire produced about 10 years ago. Tim, Dave, Tony,D.Q., Jerry,Phil, AND Steve love you guy's get in touch. And thanks for keepin' Recess alive. let's do a reunion.

The Bass player ( singer ) David Quinones also known as D.Q. resides in P.R. and has become one of the most sort out session player in the latin Christian circles. I should know we've been friends for about 28 yrs. I'm very proud of him.
