One doesn't often think of Poland as the first point of call for fiery gospel music but this collective, formed and headed up by US songwriter Brian Fentress, offer a hugely impressive EP which expertly blends gospel, R&B, soul and electronica. The triumphant opener "Conqueror" sets the scene for a handful of bold songs about God's redemptive power and, with the track shifting from lead vocal delivery to a full-blooded gospel choir plus a cameo from Polish rapper Kolah in his native tongue, it showcases Fentress and his team's innate versatility and inventiveness. The remaining three main tracks are no less impressive with "Manifest Yourself" morphing from slick R&B into a stirring gospel exposé, the soulful "I Don't Know Where I'd Be" paying tribute to the saving grace of Jesus and the superb electro dance of "Fight On" further cementing this outfit's virtuosity. Given the calibre of this debut, a full length album from Regeneration should be hotly anticipated.
