This album from a band out of Watertown, Wisconsin originally came out in 2005 and every song title is a plea to be changed in some way by God. While the message is an excellent one the performances here are less so. The only song on the album that musically stirs any major excitement is 'Messiah' which describes the sacrifice that God has made for us, saying "What kind of man would lay down his life/For a sinner like me/What kind of man would heal the eyes of a man who could not see". The main problem with the tracks here is the lead singer whose voice has a nasal quality which isn't particularly appealing, while on a couple of songs, like "Make Me Alive" he is straining to reach the higher notes. Instrumentally the band sound tight, having been together since 1985, a connection can be clearly heard between each member.
