It has to be said straight off that there are much better "live" worship albums around than this one. The event at which it was recorded (although it is enhanced by additional material) was the Revival Now Conference and the wor­ship is led by Isabel Simpson, Lois Gott and David McRae. The songs are com­petently played and sung, and there are one or two spoken introductions -which add little to the worship - but there is nothing (hat sets this recording apart from countless others. The lyrics, music and performance are all pretty well as you'd expect. The sleevenotes promise that "you too can experience the energy and power of worship from Sunderland." I suspect that's only true if you were there.
