Seven new tracks from an Aberystwyth-based worship leader, six solely written by Jensen and one an old hymn, "Great God Of Wonders", with a new tune. This is gentle and lilting, smooth and easy to listen to, the music drifts like smoke in a windless sky. As with his previous albums, Scripture forms the core with, here, Psalm 23 and Romans 12 while Richard's voice is pleasing, warm and as comfortable as an old cardigan, at times resembling the breathiness of Colin Blunstone. Richard's acoustic guitar and computer generated instrumentation work well to form a rounded musical whole. 'Strengthened In The Wait' is really an extension of the 2015 album and is ideal for personal meditation. The lack of variety drags the project down a little and one can't help but feel that a more adventurous musical approach would have benefitted Richard and the listener.
