Rick is the founder of The Heart Of David Movement and Fire Rain Ministries based in Austin, Texas. Known for his prophetic worship (the right word at the right time), and his multi-cultural instrument choices, Rick has in the past delivered a number of powerful albums. The title track on 'Kiss The Son' is a guitar rocker giving an explosive start to this collection while "Isaiah 53" demonstrates Rick's soulful voice backed over a tapestry of piano, drums and guitar. This merges into worship on "Oh The Blood" making a strong case for the concept of the album. The overall collection frequently nods to the rock ballads of the '80s with a hint of U2 for good measure, "Holy Holy" being an example. If you're looking for worship music which endeavours to express the now word of God, this is a project you will need to search out.
