Rita, the lady behind the song "Make Us A Prayer", launched (with others) a national conference in 2000 called Fragrant Oil, ministering to women across the US in up to 35 weekends a year. This year sees the launch of a youth event under the same banner. This CD is a live recording made at a conference in New Mexico and unlike so many, contains no "tidying up technology" to take out the raw edges. This works well in allowing the ministry to shine through the recording, but sometimes the direct-from-the-desk recording does not convey Rita's voice in its best light. The disc however does showcase some wonderful songs penned by Rita (amongst others) and is worth checking out.
