This is the third volume of the unexpectedly popular concept of getting panpipes to play well-known choruses and hymns. As has been previously noted, sometimes the material isn't particularly suited to the instrument while on other occasions, like on the Graham Kendrick title track; it creates a very nice, contemplative effect. For me the most effecting tracks were Simon Bernard-Smith's original compositions "Pain Of Calvary" and "The Empty Tomb". Maybe next time the instrumental virtuoso will get a whole album of his own works.

I would like to hear a panpipe rendition of There's a place where the streets shine (Because of You) on the playlist.
