Time to carefully place your CD inside a concrete bunker before playing this metal core industrial strength recording. Obviously if you want your music louder than a road drill and with as much vibration coming out of the speakers, this is going to be an essential listen. Based in Texas and used to holding their own in the mainstream club scene, the band has taken the opportunity to open up for more popular headliners as they pay their dues and get their stuff heard. I know that the musical format for this style is limited but that's still no excuse for the first three tracks on this CD to sound near enough identical! I kept checking to see whether my ears were deceiving me. Once we're past that strange phenomenon, there's plenty of variety including the occasional mellow moment! "Knife Fight" is one example where the intensity levels lessen slightly which only makes the return to heaviosity even more powerful. Society's Finest are the genuine article and this powerful album hits you right between the eyes!
