Stephen Thomson - Get Real

LABEL: Independent
FORMAT: Cassette Single

Three tracks from young Mr Thomson and unfortunately, I have little to report that could induce you to want to buy it. Muffled backing tracks with cheesy sounds combine with uninspired cliche-ridden lyrics. If that wasn't enough, Stephen is not blessed with a singing voice that stays in tune for very long. The combination of these elements leads me to conclude that I must advise Stephen to seriously consider whether God is calling him to work as a singer. Maybe, with some work, a songwriter, but on the strength of this (or rather its weaknesses) I fear this muddled musical mess indicates little promise.
