Steve Grace is a bit of an Australian Christian music legend who hasn't really seen his career make an impact beyond the shores of Oz despite a push by Reunion a decade ago. Stylistically Steve creates poppy roots rock and vocally occasionally reminds me of Neil Young but that's probably just me! 'Follow' is packed with excellently executed worshipful songs of faith that range from the gentle "Draw Me Near" and catchy pop rock of "How Great" to the memorable "Reign Over Me". Arrangements that make the full use of Hammond stabs, gospelly backing singers and a horn section through to quieter stripped down sounds illustrate that Grace is happy in many different settings. As for me, I just love the funky pop and straight forward message of "Freeway Dreaming". Lyrical depth, spiritually stirring and musically tight, Steve Grace's 'Follow' sees him further establishing himself as the Australian version of Steven Curtis Chapman!

I think Steve Grace is more country-rock. Especially some of his songs from "Liberty Road" reminds you of The Eagles.
