Steve hails from the Cayman Islands and I was hoping for something pretty special. Sadly not so, though his voice is pretty good, a rich and soulful tenor with plenty of expression the songs are largely dirge-like tempo'd ballads and the accompaniment is the cheesiest kind of synth pop-country. The reggae rhythms on "Redeemed" work better but here he's singing in too low a key and is consequently flat. Better production and better songs needed. Until then the dear brother's following will remain strictly local.
