The Blessed Man (Steve Imuere) hits us with five brand new cuts in this second release. When I spoke with Steve on the phone he revealed his heart for youth and how he hopes this EP will speak to them in a relevant way, which it does. The first track, "Ain't Going Out Like That", produced by Royal Priest (Paul Sevier of N-Daze) and featuring EQ (Eddie Quinen), addresses the issues of addiction in youth. The CD keeps the ears pumping with tracks "Ha Ha Ha..." and "Winner" produced by Super-D-Lux and Gifted respectively. "Not Ashamed Of The Gospel", inspired by Paul's letter to the Romans, features the uplifting vocals of Marcia Phinn, Ending it all is the title track featuring an impressive line up of G.I.F.T.E.D, Wariyah and SOE as well as The Blessed Man whamming some fat lyrics over an infectious beat. An essential purchase for UK holy hip hoppers.
