This team from the Vale of Glamorgan (just outside Cardiff) have been gigging in various shapes and forms for over three years. Fronted by guitarist/vocalist Chris Pepper the team have an acoustic base and despite recording in the home of Christian roots music Cheltenham's FFG studios, have little of the currently popular roots music sound. Instead an attractive light pop lilt abounds with good, though slightly repetitive hooks. It's a shame that bass lady Julie Knight has left, as her vocal on "5 Minutes To Midnight" has guts aplenty but reportedly Lyndon Thomas is an able replacement. A group to watch out for and some readers might care to send for this above average EP.
