So what if the kids can't act too well. So what if the lip synching to the carefully scripted studio recorded dialogue is hit-and-miss. And what if Duncan, the talking donut, is the most bizarre vehicle yet conceived by middle America to convey spiritual truth. The video.filmed in the bright Californian sunshine, is still much preferable to the audio tape. And as I am a sucker for tear-jerking climax sporting movies I liked the climax. Made for a budget of (probably) 500 bucks, likely to make 500,000 bucks. There's money in this kids ministry. My nine year old son enjoyed it.
