I was there! Greenbelt 80? in the village hall at Odell. That Fat Band gig was one of the happiest and best nights of my life-every Fat Band gig was. We were front row & had the best fun ever. I have similar photos & so many happy memories. Devastated to hear of James Holloway’s death in October 2019. He will forever be my eternal hero. Really wish I could get hold of some Fat Band recordings-best band ever & I’d love to listen to them again

Many happy memories of seeing these boys at various Greenbelts. Are they still gigging? Do they have a website to check? Any stuff on CD?
Thanks

Glad to hear that you guys are still rocking! You probably don't remember me, but I got you to come to Duffield, near Derby, for the village Festival in the early 80s. I was the Methodist minister there. Is it still the same line-up? Is Holloway still singing? (Walking the dog, Lady Doctor etc) I remember him teaching me how to lay bricks! Great days.

These guys are amazing! In fact they have not stopped playing and must be one of the legends of rythmn and blues in the Gospel music scene.....they are playing in Felixstowe this saturday 11th July at a James Bond event....catch them at Greenbelt soon!!!!!
Oh and adjust your website - they are alive and well and still rocking in the free world!!!
