If you've heard too many lush/sentimental American ensembles performing pseudo-classical Christian music, these guys, who've been playing for over 20 years, are refreshingly English, understated and with genuine musicality. There are 12 tracks in all, covering such well known gems as "Lost In Wonder" (a particularly beautiful arrangement), "Shout To The Lord", "Before The Throne Of God Above" and "Faithful One". The KCO consists of 16 musicians, covering violins, violi, cellos, bass and harp - all played with consummate skill and feeling. If your worship music collection is getting a bit jaded and samey buy this and be refreshed by the beauty of these deft renditions of modern worship hits.
