The jokeyname of course hides the identity of Christendom's Phil And John and whether or not it makes it into the Top 20 on a wave of anti-Government feeling at the wholesale closure of Britain's coal fields it's a thoroughly charming song which avoids cheap political sniping in favour of a plaintive poignancy while the brass band are perfectly suited to bring out the pathos of the lyrics. Get along to your record shop and get it.
