From the northwest of the USA, Times Two released their first eponymous album in 1995. This follow up is a far more assured and polished affair. Lori Green and Cheri Sanderson are fine songwriters and even better singers. Nine of the 11 cuts here are self-penned and range from the pop rock of the title track and the excellent "It's About God" to sensitive and powerful ballads such as "God Of Power" and the breathtakingly beautiful "Oh How I Love You", which is one of the finest worship songs I have heard in many many years. Add to that innovative covers of Keith Green's "Your Love Broke Through" and the standard "The Blood Of Jesus' and musicians of the quality of Shawn Tubbs and Justo Almario (yet again!) and you have an album of the very highest calibre. Make the effort to investigate this - you won't be disappointed.
