Cross Rhythms have sent me through my Christmas present early! Imagine a more jazz-tinged Phil And John. On this album David and Chris have included drums and have drafted in two brilliant brass players which compliment the album superbly. The poignancy of the majority of the songs and their subtle message are conveyed very cleverly. One track does sound very much like "The Theme To Arthur" (for those oldies who remember it) and it is very hard not to sing those words to it! So many of the tracks feature the word "smile" that it is very hard not to smile along. Trademark have been touring with J John and are working with Nottingham Youth For Christ, and I cannot imagine anyone coming away untouched after hearing them.
