'New Space' is the second recording from this Bristol-based four-piece and is a three-song single capturing where they are at the moment. The songwriting style is musically busy and the melodies are not obvious which does not make it easy to pigeon hole their style. The music has touches of the Jam, the vocals of the Police while having its own distinctive rock styling that would not be out of place in a 20 minute concept tack. Transition have quite a following for their live shows and based on this they should be well worth seeing if you get the chance.
