The two years of hard work that has gone into this album has certainly paid off spectacularly with a crisp and clear sound and flawless production. Just as Delirious?' latest release 'Kingdom Of Comfort' was born out of experience and realisation, 'Three Bridges' was conceived in a similar way. Written in such varied locations as Taiwan and Bristol, this album is as broad in its engagement as it is geographically. Exploring deep into the way we are, the way we think and the way we should be; exploring the questions we are often too uncomfortable to ask ourselves and answering some more, this is the kind of album that is making a difference in the world, the kind of album that we need to see more of. In the words of Margaret Mead, "Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has." Albums such as this are the fuel for those groups. Lots of fine tracks with the fabulous "Forgotten Son", built around some interlocking vocal phrases, being particularly outstanding. The best CD by far for the British quartet.
