True Worshippers, led here by Indonesia's Sidney Mohede, take their name from John 4: 23, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth..." Based at Jakarta Praise Community Church, they have produced an album of praise and worship every year for the last dozen years or so; this offering (11 tracks and 65 minutes of music) includes four tracks recorded live at the Istora Senayan in Jakarta and is expansive and committed worship in the Hillsong style. Mohede leads the large and able collection of singers and musicians very effectively (and himself contributes some fabulous vocals) and he is also responsible for writing the best two tracks here, "Captivated" and "Glory To Glory". A DVD of the worship event at which the live recordings were made is included, an event which was clearly visually stunning and extremely dramatic. Aside from the two songs already mentioned, the remainder of the material has fairly standard corporate worship content; if that is to your taste then this is a very good example of the genre.
