Few people who have followed gospel hip-hop for long will fail to recognise the name V.Rose for even as a young teenager the Californian singer has guested on numerous rap projects. So it's hardly surprising that her one-time record label boss Flame makes an appearance here on the infectious "Money$ On You" while another MC, female rapper Angie Rose (no relation) brings some New York sass to the empowering "We're Girls". The best cut of all here though is "I Love You So Much (ftg Trip Lee)" which is an engaging blend of pop, hip-hop and R&B and is way better than anything that Kate Perry has managed in the mainstream in the last few years. V.Rose's lyrics are often clearly targeted at a young female listenership struggling with the lies and enticements of modern culture and with her catchy hooks and production sound Vienna has succeeded in delivering her best album yet which will surely reward Inpop Records for signing this bright, young Christian communicator.
