The latest in a long line of Vineyard UK releases sees two upcoming Northern Irish worship songwriters, Andy Young and Harmony Smith, take centre stage in both the vocal and writing stakes. Produced by one-time frontman of Onehundredhours, Tre Sheppard, the album gets off to a high octane start with the guitar-driven "God Of Hope" and "I Respond" which reflect God's faithfulness before proceedings slow down a notch with the likes of the more contemplative "Glorified" and "You Are My Desire". Young and Smith's skills as singers and writers are highlighted in the accomplished "Come Lord Come" which sees the latter give a fragile yet intense performance whilst the cut back simplicity of "Jesus" is a stunning offering from Young. As an antidote to the relative intensity found elsewhere on the album, the light-hearted country foot stomper "Little Old Me" is a fitting end to a collection of fresh praise material that succeeds in pointing wholeheartedly to God whilst showing great promise for the future of the Northern Irish worship scene.

Product Description

Creator features a wealth of new worship songs from two upcoming worship songwriters, Andy Young (Dungannon Vineyard) and Harmony Smith (Belfast City Vineyard). The energy of the arrangements and depth of the lyrics combine to bring an honest representation of worship within these churches.

Stylistically punchy, guitar-driven rocky numbers lead to mellow and thoughtful ballads and blue-grass with the very personal Little Old Me. The title track speaks of the immensity of God as creator of the universe whilst also expressing the very personal relationship we have with Him. This album is sure to bring you to a place of personal, heartfelt worship.
