The Women Of Faith worship group has been in existence for well over a decade now and they've released a string of live and studio recordings. This one was recorded to mark the team's 2009 theme 'Today Is A Grand New Day', which was commemorated with celebrations in cities all across the States. It's a studio set, featuring singers Allison Abott, Nia Allen, Missi Hale and Corrie Henson (all backing musicians, main songwriters, producers, etc, are male, incidentally). Like previous output from the team, it's a highly polished presentation of mainly upbeat praise songs from various sources. These include Paul Baloche, Stuart Townend, Louis Giglio and Ben Fielding/Reuben Morgan. More interesting is the lightly jazz-infused "New Every Morning", written by producer Chance Scoggins, and the thoroughly funky "Hallelujah Praise", though even these tracks struggle to truly inspire me. A well-rehearsed but ultimately unexceptional flow of mainly chirpy pop-praise.

Product Description
The theme of this new CD from the Women Of Faith worship team, which releases in the run up to their annual US conference of the same name is entitled ‘Grand New Day’. This theme is taken from the verse from Lamentations 3:22-23: “The Lord's love never ends; his mercies never stop. They are new every morning . . .” NCV This studio project features well known, well loved songs such as ‘Mighty To Save’ and ‘In Christ Alone’, as well as soon to be classics such as ‘Grand New Day’, and ‘New Every Morning’.
