Any follower of the Sanctified Dance movement who feared that The Tribe's ground-breaking 'Take A Long Hike (With The Chosen Few)' was some find of never-to-be-repeated fluke, fear not! Zarc Porter, David Mark Pennells and co have come up with another searing, seriously satisfying call to dance. Manchester's finest haven't remained creatively static. Both "In My Life" and "We Take The Blame" introduce rock elements into their heady brew of lurching rhythm, the latter an extraordinary denouncement of the misuse of religion. But ravers haven't been deserted. "One (Rag And Bone Edit)" is as furiously frantic as anything they've produced while the new, full length version of their Take A Long Hike' favourite "3:16" is blistering stuff too. The proof, if proof is needed, that Britain's Christian counterculture is there on the cutting edge.
