C3 is the fast-growing Cambridge Community Church. After two solo offerings from C3's worship leader Wayne Sanders, this latest collection is labelled Worship From C3, but Sanders leadership is still very much in evidence. Style-wise the five songs here follow the common pattern of modern worship material such as Vineyard UK, Soul Survivor and others, leaning towards Britpop and even indie rock though the last track here is a good acoustic version of the title song. There's plenty of guitars and some good piano and keyboards too, giving this mini-album a powerful, multi-layered sound. The title track and "We Will Stand" are the best two songs here but the others are not far behind. If there is any criticism it's that firstly the tempos are too similar (all fairly medium) and secondly the production and mix is a little flat in places. But these are minor glitches on what is an impressive recording.
