These Australians can really Ayers Rock! The searing electric guitar solos are in places so wild that they would be suited to a crocodile wrestling soundtrack. This album is full of the raucous energy that you would expect from Australian Youth Worship. There is hardly a moment when the music doesn't transport you into an attitude of energetic worship, with its powerful rock and emotional slower tracks. The cartoon that twists its way through the lyrics of the CD's inlay is just far too cool. It does reflect the quality of effort that is this album. The graphic design, recording, production and songwriting is so good that I can't find anything to realistically criticize. The musical style is consistently rocky, but flows from metal, to soft pop rock that is certainly chart worthy, especially with the female vocals of Kate Spence. It is only when the rock is mixed with reggae and funk that things don t work quite as well. This is going to sit in my CD player for a long time.
