Dreamcoat (previously reviewed) continue their evolution into a much harder edged fearsome foursome; Ivan spearheads with some awesome screaming vocals, guitar aficionado Rob learns less is more, Simon provides booming bass whilst new drummer Kaine is also impressive. The well produced CD only contains two mean and moody tracks but remember that it is intended to provide gigs for this local outfit, one of which they performed brilliantly at the end of January. Here they display enough energy, enthusiasm and showmanship to promise that they could be the best musical export from Stoke-on-Trent since our Robbie! With that in mind if you want to rock the joint you know the name, now call the number.
