A PASTOR who is the former vice president and A&R with Island Def Jam and former assistant to hip-hop star Diddy, will soon be releasing his first gospel album. Jones has worked with mainstream artists such as Mary J Blige and Heavy D and served as executive producer for the soundtracks to Rush Hour and The Nutty Professor movies. Pastor Jones spoke to Christian Retailing magazine about his entry into gospel music. "The response from my friends and co-workers was, 'You gotta be kidding me.'
