The most popular Christian band in the UK Eden Burning, whose rise in popularity has spearheaded the explosion of support for folk roots orientated music, have completed their new album 'Mirth And Matter'. Produced by Dave Pick, from ffg, and Eden Burning, the album marks a complete departure from their previous works. As the band told Cross Rhythms, "We've developed and matured a lot in our style of song writing. Our whole approach is different; there is a novel, new, fresh sound without losing sight of our roots. There is a wider cross section of style on this album, from darker to more up-beat music." As well as a string quartet and piano, there is a surprise guest introducing one of the tracks. The album will be available on Eden Burning's forthcoming tour, then later in the shops.
