Concert singer Marsha Hansen pens a book on the spirituals with accompanying CD
CONCERT vocalist and inspirational speaker Marsha Hansen has written a book, My Soul Is A Witness: The Message Of The Spirituals In Word And Song. The book, which is published by Augsburg Books in the US, has been described by one critic as "a series of thought provoking, wide ranging, free wheeling reflections, each as distinctive as the spiritual that inspired it." Included with the book is a CD of Hansen singing such songs as "This Little Light Of Mine", "Hush Hush" and "Been In The Storm So Long".
