Teesside act Galactus Jack releases debut EP

THE DEBUT seven-track EP from Stockton-on-Tees-based Galactus Jack will be released on 27th April. Galactus Jack is the recording name for Ben Jack, who broadcasts regularly on Cross Rhythms Teesside. The 'Reality Bytes' EP features contributions from Shell Perris, former thebandwithnoname MC Ad-Apt and vocalist Lindsey who currently has a Cross Rhythms turntable hit with the song "Heaven".

Said Galactus Jack, "The last 18 months have been a real journey of trying to find a sound to call my own that pleases my ever changing musical perspective. With a foundation of some cheeky break beats we threw some guitars, some vocals and some editing scissors into the melting pot and from the lyrical and musical jumping concept of 'Reality' this is what came out! There's some dance, some pop elements, some rock. . . people kept asking us to describe the sound so we decided to call it electro grunge magic!" CR
