Hymns album by The Mike Sammes Singers & The Ted Taylor Organsound reissued

A REISSUE of a 1969 attempt to modernise hymnody has been released by specialist company Trunk as an amusing example of high kitch. 'Hymns A'Swinging' by The Mike Sammes Singers & The Ted Taylor Organsound is described by Mojo magazine as "a misguided attempt to inject grooviness into the English hymnbook." CR
