Ireland's Crimson Fight announce their retirement

THE HARD rock band from Larne, Northern Ireland, Crimson Fight have called it a day. Reads a band statement, "After a few hours of non stop discussion it was the decision of all four of us, as best friends and as band mates, that we should bring Crimson Fight to an end. The reasons for which aren't particularly dramatic. Nobody fell out (anything but), nobody had any kind of crisis, no 'artistic differences'. We felt collectively that the objectives that the band originally set out to achieve weren't being done with the same effectiveness any more. It was becoming a grind, and if you aren't enjoying yourself, why try to carry on as if nothing's wrong, possibly risking the loss of your best friends?" CR
