One-time music exec J E Jones now a gospel act

IN THE US Ultimate Entertainment Records have released the debut gospel album by former music mogul J E Jones. Jones was previously an executive at both Uptown Records and Def Jam Records. More recently he has written and produced for Mary Mary, Dorinda Clark-Cole and Kierra Sheard. The first single from Jones's album 'Fire', "The Turnaround", has been released to Christian radio. Said Jones, "I come from the secular world and I'm not excluding it in what I'm doing now. Everyone looks for guidance at some point in their life, and whether they truly receive the guidance they're given depends on how you present it. I believe God is using me to work through the secular world. I just transformed it from the secular world to the gospel. Now, I'm going to transfer the gospel back to the secular." CR
