Original Prayer

Father, When my family members say or do things that I find hurtful or irritating, and my attitude is losing altitude, please lift me up again. Help me stop taking things so personally, and remind me of Bible verses I've read that speak to me in this area. I'm reminded of my imperfections and end up beating myself up when I don't meet your standards, or even my own standards which I realized are too high. Set me on a better path to spiritual maturity and guide me in renewing my mind according to Your word. It hasn't been easy, but but this is worth doing. Have Your way in me, God. Thank you for giving me Holy Spirit to help me. And please let Your grace cover my wounds and come in to heal me when I feel hurt. I want to be able to extend grace and forgiveness to them too, as you've given me Yours. Help me learn more about your love and how to love like You, because love covers a multitude of sins. Thank you for hearing me, helping me, and healing me. I love you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
