Original Prayer

Dear Lord, I am feeling lost and incomplete and I know it is because I have not always put you at the centre of my life. I can remember a time when I felt close to you, and it was such a happy time for me and my family. Although we have been through a tough time lately, I should not have ignored you, but please make me stronger as I want to start again and commit everything to you. Amen

Marti How much do I find myself aligning with you. I too have had it tough lately, and I have found myself wandering from God, His Love and His guidance. Sometimes u just don't know which way to go - trying to fun your way back to Him. Everything seems distant, but I had to learn that He is always there, cos we are so wrapped up in ourselves, we don't see Him. The trick is to KNOW that He is with us and has plans for us. We just need to tune in. I find it helps if I just go back to basics, commit to prayer, and keep praying, if even it feels there not been answered. Perserverance does pay off, God honours that, cos you are focused on Him. God bless you in your re-commitment to God
