Original Prayer

Lord, I just pray that you would be with me as I struggle daily with SH. I have been free of it for the last three months but recently I have been thinking about it more and more. I need your help to have the strength to hold out, to ignore the need to cut. This is not something I want to be part of me anymore. I recognise its destrucive powers over me. I just pray that you would hold me in your arms and keep me safe from harm. Lord in your mercy hear my prayer. Amen

May God bless you and bring you through. That is a hopefull statement. But a statement of faith that i really believe is that God WILL bless you and bring you through. What was a recurant thought will become an inconsistent thought, a distant thought, and before you know it you wont be thinking it at all. AMEN!

My friend if you can try and fathom the depth of God's love for you and just how special and precious YOU are to him, then I really believe you will find it easy to stop self harming. Lord Jesus I pray for random goth that you will break this addiction to self harm, Lord Jesus please show the depth of love that you have and just how precious this person is to you, Lord Jesus help random goth to understand that the blood you shed on the cross 2000 years ago was for this person and that they dont need to shed there own blood, as youve done it for this person already. I ask that you release this child of yours from the darkness and pour out your holy spirit in awesome power of this young life, let them Lord live in the light of your love forever. In your precious name Amen
