Original Prayer

GOD i'm crying out to you right now! - you know me so well, more than in know myself - I have been on long term missions, done youth work, schools work, etc and was on fire for you my God, i fell away and had sex several times with several people, but God you where there you forgave me - i thought i could change, i recomitted - i made a vow to abstain until i entered into a biblical marriage and i have broken it please God help me!!! I need you right now - i have no-one else

Heavenly father, i pray that you watch over Dave. Help him fight the temptation of having sex or even the thought of it. Forgive him Lord for we are all weak. Make him strong. Lift him up to be on fire for you again, he wants you God. Change him..clean his body, heart and soul. Let him know that he is no longer alone for you have now reached out on to him. Touch Dave with your Holy spirit and forgive him. Do not let him turn back father. Give him the strength to walk with you. Amen and amen.

god forgives for what you have done but it doesn't make it alright to go out and do it again then asking again for forgiveness , i have trouble with the same what you need to do i no its hard but to stop seeing woman for a month or so then gather your thought on how to tackle the problem, the most obiouvs is to stop seeing the type of girls who will want sex, its a trap that cant be avoided so avoid them, try seeing christian girls as they will help you on the road to staying clean,as they will want to stay a virgin until marrided. Stop seeing friends who boost about sex and ask who you had etc as they will again lead you away from the right and godness of god.

dave sometimes the best thing about bring a christian isnt about the jumping and shouting and praising, its about those days when you feel like the world is closing in on you and u feel like you are about to give up and then you speak to someone ho feels exactly the same way and you realise that you are not the only one in the world who is going through what you are going through. I write this coz i am going thru the same thing as you. I struggle with the same addiction as you and even tho i hate to admit it, i must and i know that as i do then james 5 verse 16 will come to pass. Confess your sins to one another that you may be healed. I struggle with sex and masturbation with watching dirty movies and even listening to songs that glorify sex. Sometimes i dnt even feel guilty. I know though that i do it coz im lonely and sometimes i get a little depressed, thats no excuse its the truth and i pray that together we can pray a prayer of faith. Ecclesiastes 4:12 "Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. " so its me you and jesus. Lord Jesus you died for me to be set free, set free from bondage and i know father that this thing that Dave and I are struggling with that it hurts you just as much as it does us and so father we come before you and we break that yoke in Jesus name. father we thank you for the gift of purity that father our bodies may be living sacrifices acceptable and pleasing in your sight. From this day forward we are free in the name of jesus and we rejoice in our freedom! Thank you Jesus praise your name Lord hallelujah amen
