Original Prayer

I Love God so much. i know that through his amazing sacrifice, i am free. he has changed me so much as well. but one thing that comes back at me again and again is masturbation. i know its holding me back from going deeper into God, but every time i try to break it, i give in. I would value prayers. I want to grow in my faith, and become more like him.

I too, was a victim of this addiction. Again and again I promised God I'd stop, and then I'd just carry on. This went on for years- the power was so strong. But in the end God was stronger. Now I haven't done it for 4 months and I know I'll never do it again. It was a hard battle but through God's grace I defeated the temptation. Have hope that God can help you, He understands and will always forgive. My prayers are with you.

Please don't feel asahmed about this. This is a big problem in my life. Just tell God you don't like what you keep doing. Keep telling yourself I'm not going to do this and that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. He understands you're struggling with this. I will remember you in prayer.
