Original Prayer

Dear Lord I ask you to look down upon my family at this time, especially Grandma and Grandad. Grandma as you know has cancer and we think she is in her final weeks, please surround her and keep her from pain. Please support Grandad as he is doing a lot of caring right now, let him and us not forget the need for him to be cared for to. I do not know what to think or feel, I feel so sad that I could cry all day, yesterday I cried and felt so low and so shaky. Today, thanks to your support I felt better but started to feel anxious again later in the day, please help me to find more peace. I am worried as I have not been dealing with things very well, and has made me feel worse, please help me to take my medication as I should and don't let me slip. Please support our family to stay together and support each other through. Please look after me as I am trying to get to grips with my new routines and lifestyle and show me how you want it to go but help me not to feel alone please Lord and help me balance my time. Please send your love down on my friends who have supported me this week and those who I know care but would like to see more of and hear more from. Please do not let them be burdened. Please help us all in my family and friendship groups to find courage and be determined but most of all let Grandma be safe, in peace and know that she is loved so very much. Amen
