Original Prayer

Lord, I am sorry i wandered again. Again and again I wander and return from sin and I ask you Lord that each time i return, i become closer to you. Lord, let me read your word, talk to you, live for you and become ulitmately closer to you and gain a deeper understanding of what you want to do with my life. Help me to relate everything I read to my relationship with you. Lord, let me live a pure life, honouring you in everything i do. Help me Lord, to see the reasons why I changed in the first place. Lord, let your grace fall upon me once again. I give everything to you Lord, offering my life as a sacrifice to you, asking to work for you and live my life as you desire it. Lord, give me a little peep of that life you want for me... reaffirm it within me. Please Lord, let my fears about falling back into the abyss not become real. Help me Lord, to drive the devil out of my mind and life and fill my entire soul with your holy spirit. Lord, in your mercy, hear my prayer. Amen.
