Original Prayer

Lord, I know I have sinned. I come to you head bowed, knowing I can't conquer this under my own power. I submit to you, and pray for strength. I know I conquer this, for you say we will not bee tempted beyond what we can stand against. Every time i think its going well, complacency kicks in and satan pulls me down again. Help me give this up before it drags me under. I know satan runs from truth, so help me hold on to the truth of Christ crucified. When temptation comes fill me with your holy spirit, make me a temple for your holy spirit. Lord I pray for others going through this, I pray that they would not feel alone. I weep for a society where such atrocities are just accepted, I pray for renewal and revival in this place. Lord I call on your holy and powerful name to get me through this, out of the hole I have dug for myself. I don't deserve to get out it, but you have forgiven me. I praise you for your mercy. Hear my prayers, Amen

Thank you for your prayer. I have the same problem and your words echoed my feelings exactly. I know i is causing a barrier between me and God but I have resently re-read Roman 8:35-38 and took great strength for it as God will have the victory. I think I need to spend more time with God and his word as what goes in comes out.
