Original Prayer

Lord, I have come a long way in my walk with you over these past years. Everyday my strength grows and my faith in you deepens. These past two weeks, I have seen my ex a few times around where I live. Though it hurt a little to see her (but we did not speak), I found myself feeling a huge amount of pity for her. She has changed so much, Lord, that I hardly recognized her. I pray that the remaining hurt in my heart,will heal and that I will finally be able to let go of my past with her. I now know what it is that I have been called to do in life,but until the hurt is gone, I'm stuck. Please Lord,hear my prayer. Amen.
