Sisters Temera and Toy are 5AM Praise. On this 200.. release they bring their own blend of hot R&B, hip-hop and bold Gospel proclamation and with tight harmonies and wonderfully blended voices pull it off. Strong influences of Mary Mary are evident, in fact although it's a great vibe "Everybody Lift Your Hands Up" is just a bit TOO close to "Shackles (Praise You)". But elsewhere there is a great variety of melodies and rhythms from the laid back R&B of "I Just Wanna Love You" which is lush and silky, to the vibrant new gospel "Give You Glory" with its foot tapping chorus. A couple of tracks are duplicated as Radio Edit and Reprise but there seems to be very little difference to tell from the preceding versions. On the strength of this impressive release a bright future for 5AM Praise seems assured.
