One of Australia's leading jazz pianists Andy Vance and his friends Andy Price and Ben Vanderwal have produced an album of traditional hymns and three new compositions by Andy himself. The critically acclaimed aggregation play with verve at times replicating the sound of the old Oscar Peterson Trio. Recorded at ABC Studios in Melbourne 'All Things Bright And Beautiful' includes the wonderful and fun fingering of Vance in "Blessed Assurance", an upbeat version of "To Be A Pilgrim" and Andy's own "(The) Victory Train". A good selection of old and new to be enjoyed by all those looking for jazz renditions of worship material.
