Recorded in 2016 when Australia-based Anna was still at college, this seven-track release was cut as a result of winning a competition giving free studio time. Despite its humble beginnings, the talent that would later produce the Cross Rhythms hit "Better Days" is clearly apparent here. This is a simple, stripped back production focused mainly on the keyboard with help from other instruments such as guitar, bass and drums. This sparse arrangement allows Anna's honest lyrics to shine through as she shares her walk of faith on songs such as "I Am Convinced" and "A Beating Heart". There is also a great version of the traditional "He Lives" with an upbeat, spontaneous feel to it. An enjoyable listen.
